How's the tour with Erykah Badu been?

JM: Oh it's going marvellous. I love her, we're friends and we love one another and support each other. We're both fighting for individuality and a celebration of everyone's differences. It's been really fun. We're looking forward to doing some things together on stage before the end of the tour, so I'm excited to see what we come up with.

Have you talked about working together on a record?
JM: We have discussed a long list of things that I won't disclose…

She graciously accepts compliments, but she's not really modest by any stretch of the imagination, talking about how she wasn't surprised by P Diddy's offer to work with her, for example.


She is, however, extremely likeable – charming, eloquent and tenacious – and she barely registers on the Kanye Scale of Hubris. Plus, if you had just created an album like The ArchAndroid – an 18-song, two suite set that plays with so many genres as to almost defy categorisation, a ball-bustingly incredible record that's almost certainly set to position her as a global superstar


COMPARED AS A BLACK LADYGAGA ::

"In a lot of the articles I've read about you, people have compared you to a black Lady Gaga. You've talked about how genre and comparisons are reductive – does it frustrate you when people constantly draw these comparisons?

JM: No, not at all. People don't define me, I define myself. I respect her, I like her. I think she's great. But again, I've been this way for many, many years, and some people are just now catching on, we're only now meeting each other. But not at all, no. I'm very much confident in who I am, and I let everybody else discuss those things while I focus on creating art."

ALBUM ENTITLED LAZARUS..
Lazarus" is slated to be released across the United States on June 8. A Bruno Mars-featuring song titled "Billionaire" has been released as the first treatment of the album. Other artists who reportedly make contribution to the upcoming release are T-Pain, Patrick Stump, Cee-Lo and Janelle Monae.

NERDS NEW ALBUM (NOTHING)

N.E.R.D say their upcoming fourth album, Nothing, represents a "new era" for the hip hop/rock band.
"We're like starting all over," says Pharrell Williams. "We were paid a lot of great accolades and sometimes undeserved respect (on their previous records).
"Sometimes you almost want to refuse some of it because people were so kind. But now we want to continue turning the pages."
The trio, which also includes Chad Hugo and Shae Halley, have also released Hot-n-Fun, the first single from the new album.
The track features guest vocals from Nelly Furtado, but Pharrell and Chad are staying quiet about other potential contributors, only teasingly referring to "a few other treats"




Nothing, the fourth effort from Pharrell, Chad, and Shae, is now set to arrive on July 6, Rap-Up.com has learned. It was previously scheduled for a June 15 release. Albums from Kelis and Big Boi are also due the first week of July.


The band’s first single, “Hot-N-Fun” featuring Nelly Furtado, debuted last week.

anyway.. in the end I decided to choose orange and explained that its very bright, fresh and versatile.. I think the fact im a natural GINGER may have something to do with it.. also, i love the fruit and the smell ?!?!?!
